Teaching the Future of Entrepreneurship...
With Emotional Intelligence at the Core

I don’t just teach students... I build programs.

From entrepreneurship degrees to executive leadership workshops, I design curriculum that blends emotional intelligence, innovation, and real-world experience.

I currently teach in the entrepreneurship departments at the University of Houston, Rice University, and The Citadel. I’ve helped launch a 6-month HR certification at Rice, served as the founding Academic Dean of the McNair Center for Entrepreneurship at Houston Christian University, and love working with teams to build new offerings that connect theory to practice.

Have an idea for a course, certificate, or center? Let’s talk about how to bring it to life.

This undergraduate course equips students to move from idea to income within a single semester. Designed for the #1 undergraduate entrepreneurship program in the nation, it blends rapid ideation, customer discovery, prototyping, and marketing.

I built this course from the ground up, including the LMS infrastructure, pitch rubrics, and real-world challenges. Students develop a live product or service, track customer traction, and pitch in a final demo day to real entrepreneurs and investors. Taught fully in-person, this course is a hands-on gateway to practical entrepreneurship... and a launching pad for future founders.

Explore Rice University’s MBA Programs

Rice’s MBA program consistently ranks among the top in the country, and I’ve had the privilege of teaching across the Full-Time, Professional, and Executive MBA cohorts.

From SQL and data visualization to new venture strategy and applied analytics, I help students transform insight into action.

This graduate-level MBA course is designed for future leaders who want to harness the power of data... not just analyze it. Students explore what it means to build or transform an organization around intelligent, real-time data. We cover data centers, SQL, data architecture, ELT, visualization, metrics design, and executive storytelling.

The capstone requires students to move their selected company up in a data maturity model by modernizing the data capabilities. This course uses case studies and real-world examples, is taught in a hybrid format, and mentors teams through implementation.

Discover Why The Citadel is #1 for Veterans

The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina, has been recognized as the #1 Regional University in the South and #1 Best College for Veterans by U.S. News & World Report.

I have the privilege of teaching MBA students here, focusing on executive development, innovation, and sustainability.

MBA students in this course gain a dual lens: how to launch and how to run a small business successfully. I designed this program to merge entrepreneurial innovation with the operational rigor required for sustainability. We cover business model validation, revenue planning, operations, leadership, and competitive strategy... tailored to the realities of small firms and military-connected ventures.

Taught online to graduate students across the country, the course is both theoretical and intensely applied. Final deliverables include launch plans, dashboards, and investor-ready pitch decks. The Citadel’s values of discipline and excellence make this course a standout in developing principled, entrepreneurial leaders.
