A few weeks ago, I had the privilege of speaking to the AmeriCorps cohort at Interfaith Ministries for Greater Houston about one of the biggest challenges in the nonprofit sector: burnout. These young leaders are on the front lines of service—solving real problems, building up communities, and carrying emotional burdens that come with the work. We explored how emotional intelligence, intentional habits, and sustainable leadership practices can help prevent burnout and protect long-term impact.
